Tarpaulins and tarp rollers
Covering the silos prevents the waste from overflowing, reduces the odors and is more environmental friendly.
The roller makes the handling of the cover easier when filling and emptying the composting stations.
Tarpaulin
The sun and the temperature of the compost cause an evaporation that might slow down the process of fermentation, the use of a cover is therefore recommended.
It must cover the silo straight after filling and should not be removed during composting.
Fixed or mobile tarp roller
The tarp roller fixed on a steel frame is equipped with a gear reduction motor able to drive the rotation in the two directions.
A remote control system makes the monitoring easier.
Fixed on a ramp, it can move sideways and be used for several silos.
